The empowerment of Bodo youth has become a crucial necessity in the rapidly changing socio-political and economic context of Assam. This study aims to explore the motivations that drive Bodo youth toward socio-economic empowerment and examine the challenges and opportunities they encounter in the process. The dynamic political environment, coupled with globalization and modernization, demands proactive engagement of the Bodo youth in shaping their future. By analyzing various socio-economic dimensions and identifying existing gaps, this research seeks to suggest practical strategies to enhance their participation, leadership, and capacity-building initiatives. Strengthening youth empowerment will contribute significantly to inclusive growth, peace, and sustainable development within the Bodo society and Assam as a whole.
